If you wanted to hang one of our curtains in a window rather than a doorway you may find it too long. However, several of our customers have shortened their curtains simply by unhooking the metal wire pieces that are chained together inside the bamboo shafts. But, the artisans that produced these curtains weren’t counting on that, so after you have taken off beads you will end up with a ragged bottom end. If that fits your look perfectly you’re done. If you are the arduous type you could go a step further and trim the beads and wire to obtain the straight bottom look you’re after…
Additionally, consider that in most cases the curtains don’t need to be adjusted at all as you can simply hang it in front of, or behind the doorway (depending on how your door closes). As there’s usually room above the door and around it your curtain may simply fit.
