The USPS website says it has not received my package...

posted 2007 May by Rudolf Helder

Actually, a trip to usps.com with the Delivery Confirmation you received from us states they have been electronically notified by the shipper (i.c. our computer’s shipping system that weighs each package and prints out postage). However, on the day you are notified we take all packages to the post office and drop them off at the business section with postage already applied.
USPS confuses things a bit as it states: “Please, note that it may take up to 24 hours before the acceptance scan for Delivery Confirmation is registered in the USPS mail-stream.” That may be true if you wait in line and have your package processed by the clerk.

Also, note that APO destination shipments are processed at the final destination by non-USPS personnel, and therefore Delivery Confirmation Tracking does not apply. Delivery of Signature Confirmation number is NOT a tracking number! If you attempt to “track” the package on the USPS website you should be aware that the package is frequently NOT being scanned until it is being delivered, hence the name “Delivery Confirmation.”

How long does it take to ship?

posted 2007 Mar by Rudolf Helder

We ship most smaller items via USPS Priority Mail and larger ones via UPS Ground. Priority Mail takes between 3-5 days, and UPS Ground between 7-10 days. There’s also time involved in processing your order, usually a day, or two. Then, packaging and carrier pickup may take an extra day. Occasionally, an item will need to be picked up from a distributor or manufacturer. Lastly, not all items ship from Hawaii, and we maintain warehouse space on the mainland US so we can be competitive with shipping cost. If you need it in a hurry, contact us, but with so many factors and other companies involved we can’t make firm promises about a specific delivery date, so the above information applies in general.

I haven't received my package!

Aye! Not good, because we are in the mail order business and we can only stay in business if you receive the goods you ordered. However, you must understand that once it’s shipped, your package is in the hands of either UPS or USPS.

If you received a tracking or delivery confirmation you should contact the appropriate carrier. If you haven’t received or misplaced our shipping confirmation, please contact us.

Has my order shipped yet?

If you received a message from us with as subject: SHIPPING PACKAGE TO (YOUR NAME) then your package was shipped that day via USPS Priority Mail. If you had read that message you’d noticed a Delivery Confirmation Number. It’s NOT a tracking number, as USPS doesn’t track shipments the way Fedex does. If you went to the USPS website and entered that number it reports only a notification message.
Please, note that APO destination shipments are processed at the final destination by non-USPS personnel, and therefore Delivery Confirmation Tracking does not apply.
If your package was delivered the USPS website will report when and where.
