Let’s start at the top:
A wooden bar holds the dangling strands. It has eyelets on top for hanging it on nails, screws, or hooks (which you supply). If you want to shorten the rod, simply cut between the strands. If you want to lengthen it, buy two curtains. You can hang your curtain in the doorway, in front, or behind it, depending on your circumstances. We do not do custom sizes.
The bamboo beads are hollow shafts of bamboo and are strung onto metal brass wire, which are looped so that the next section can hook through the loop, forming a flexible joint.
The bamboo beads are painted all around so that the curtain looks good from any angle. In the case of natural bamboo the beads are lightly varnished. And that’s how they’re made.
